Liv - Special

Newcomer Liv follows up on her excellent debut track “Come A Little Closer" with second single "Special." Less experimental than her debut, "Special" is a tender love note that grooves and sways with soulful bounce. With two impressive tracks under her belt, London songstress Liv is one to watch.

Locals - Stay Away

Philadelphia may be the 6th largest city in America but it really operates like a small town. Case in point is local and brand new band Locals. Lead singer Kurt Cain-Walther met our buddy yvynyl in a coffee shop. Turns out our other Philly friends Out Of Town Films shot the video for the band’s stellar debut single “Stay Away.” And because our friends have great taste, PORTadelphia hops aboard the friend train for this excellent indie pop/rock track.

Watch Locals’ SoundCloud for future tunes.

Shura - Indecision

London artist Shura strikes gold with new single “Indecision.” Upbeat + sway-inducing, the track finds Shura exploring shifting feelings. She responds to her partner’s ambivalence with sharp lyrics: “Tell me why, we can’t make this work? It maybe over but there’s something you should know, you’ve got my love.” No word yet on the track’s release date. For now, we’ll just hit the repeat button.

HONNE - All In The Value

I want you to really want me too / Cause it’s all in the value / I need you to really need me too / Cause it’s all in the value.

We’re not sure if the guys in HONNE are actively trying to court us but hot damn if their songs don’t make us feel down right special. “All In The Value” is the latest track from the promising new duo. Retaining that warm soulful rnb vibe that first caught our attention, the duo add a bit of punch with a guitar solo on the new track. Have a listen above.

Raye - Need Me

"Need Me" is the luscious debut track by 16-year-old South Londoner Raye. Surprised by her age? Yeah, we were too. Raye has been writing music since the age of 10, and now officially comes on the scene and under our radar. "Need Me," a heartfelt electro rnb track, hits all the right notes. Hit play above.

Tei Shi - Bassically

We’re on board with this new direction for NYC-based Argentinian singer Tei Shi. “Bassically” has a gritty future analog sound that compliments her breathy vocals. GL - Take Me Back

No, I’m not too good at maybe. // No, I’m not too good at no.

Melbourne electrofunk duo GL share new track “Take Me Back.” The synthy grooves on the track make us want to put on our roller skates and perform our best awkward dance routine while lip-synching. “Take Me Back” will appear on GL’s forthcoming self-titled EP released via Sydney label Plastic World.
